This photo was created for the 2025 Tucson Jazz Festival program cover. Festival Director Khris Dodge said this year's festival theme is “joy”. When I think of jazz normally my thoughts go to nighttime, dark smoky clubs, often in black-and-white. In this case I had to visualize something uplifting and colorful.
